Pinot Noir Fruit Cake

Hand crafted fruit cakes prepared personally by founder and private Queenstown chef Alex Southwick.

Made in small batches and executed to reflect seasonality, precision and place.

About

This is the cake that started Remarkable Pantry. Made with the same produce-led approach Alex brings to private dining, it's built from local dried fruit steeped in Central Otago Pinot Noir, then baked slowly for a dense, moist crumb.

No shortcuts, no filler, no mass production. Just small batches, made properly, in Queenstown. Good with a strong coffee, a glass of the same pinot it's made with, or on its own or even toasted with a slice of your favourite blue cheese!

Keeps well, and travels well if you're sending it as a gift.
